Please note that there may be some network issues as we work on implementing faster and more effecient network on all Hostwinds' servers. Pages loading slowly, low FTP / SSH connectivity, and high latency while connecting to cPanel are all side effects of this maintanance. All work should be completed within the next six hours. Thank you for your continued patience!Date - 06/14/2012 12:10 - 06/14/2012 18:10
We are currently working on restoring the Shared2 file system, a dual spindle failure on the main hard drives for Shared2 has caused this critical error, we are working tierlessly to restore the file system manually, we will update you when we know more
We are still working on recovering the file system, however initial feedback is not looking good, if anyone on shared2, has a local backup, or would like to have their web hosting account re-created on another server, then please open a ticket requesting this, All clients on Shared2 will be recieving a full free two months of hosting
If the data is unrecoverable, then we will be extending full refunds to all shared client's who request it, and on top of that all of Shared2's clients will recieve one years free shared hosting, or 3 months of free hosting on any of our VPS plans.

Coming back online nowDate - 05/09/2012 22:50 - 05/10/2012 09:30
At 1:30 AM CST our datacenter reported to us that they have had a cooling failure. At 5:30 AM CST cooling services were restored to the Datacenter. As a result of this cooling failure, many servers have been overheated. From the moment the cooling was restored, our technicians have been working to restore and bring each node back online. Most services have been restored, however, at this time nodes 1, 11, 5, 6, and 8 remain down. Servers Reseller2 and Shared2 are on these affected nodes.
We are working to restore the services on these servers but they are caused by critical hardware failures. 8:00 PM CST is our best estimate for when things will return to normal. One month compensation will be given to all clients affected by this outage. If service is not restored by 8:00 PM CST, all clients affected will recieve two months of free time.Date - 05/06/2012 16:25 - 05/07/2012 13:21
